Madeleine Stowe directs action/thriller 'The Unbound Captives'

First-time director Madeleine Stowe (12 Monkeys, Bad Girls) co-wrote the script for this western action/thriller with her husband in the early 1990's, but has now decided to direct it herself; filming will begin at the end of 2009. Hyde Park Entertainment (Machete) is producing.

In The Unbound Captives, Rachel Weisz will play a woman whose husband is killed and her two children kidnapped by a Comanche war party in 1859. She is later rescued by a frontiersman, to be played by Hugh Jackman, who helps her search for her missing family. Robert Pattinson of Twilight fame will play the son. Expect the film in theaters in 2010.
