So,
in addition to the categories we have already created, we're thinking about adding:

film journalist
graphic artist
score composer

do these at all interest? Would these be helpful categories to include?

And we welcome other suggestions. Just remember, this isn't just a "whos-who'type list. This really is created to have a 'go-to' place for Filmmakers looking to round out their crews with more wqmen. So the catagories should be more along the lines of who you would look to hire.

To me, that is very helpful.
I am looking to get involved in storyboarding and that sort of thing. Smile

I'd love it if you'd include journalists, though truth be told, I'm not super gainfully employeed (if that's a term)... I do get paid sometimes to write.

And technically, I am having one of my screenplays made into a movie... But I'm more of a journalist I suppose.

So I may not actually make the movie, but my works can MAKE 'EM OR BREAK 'EM!

I could definitely qualify thus far as a film journalist. Should have writing, acting and directing credits within a year. But while I'm looking forward to being listed in the database eventually, the most important thing to me is to be on the membership roster and support the cause.

15 bucks is VERY little money to spend to help support, promote and advance the interests of women in horror.

In my humble opinion.

Thanks Arinn,

we got your membership and I'll be sending you a card ASAP. You too, Ruby.

In the meantime, I created database categories for Artist, Still Photographer, and Composer. Ruby and Arinn, you're both on the list. Arinn, I put you as journalist and photographer, Ruby, you're under the artist category.

You can check out the database (its still being cleaned up) and see yourselves on there...
