Oddly enough, my favorite Video Game movie is Street Fighter. It is so cheesey, that I can't help but love it. Almost all the others I hated, or was indifferent to.

I liked the old Castlevannia game. That game used to scare the crap out of me when i turned off the lights.

Bloodrayne COULD be good if they go with the creep factor from the game.

i went to see both TOMB RAIDER movies. i was happy they played like a cross between james bond and indiana jones, but with a female action hero. not bad at all.

i enjoyed RESIDENT EVIL 2 only because mike epps and milla jovovich were in it. i agree with heidi...part 1 was better.

to me, the concept of turning video games into movies seems to be one that is purely motivated by the almighty dollar. a game sells well, so they figure they can knock out a PG-13 film version and it'll make a mint. they forget that watching someone play a game isn't as fun as playing it yourself.

how long before the 'grand theft auto' game is a movie? anyone know?

and please someone explain to me why they keep giving uwe boll money to make movies.

I think Metal Gear would make a really really cool Movie, now that they can actually do Metal Gear itself. Since the Metal Gear games have always been cinematic this is one game that could really lend itself to a wicked screen adaption.

The effects were amazing, but the plotline was horrendous.

Pretty fight scenes can only take you so far.

I was rather pleasantly surprised by DOOM... did anyone catch that? It was in theaters for about 3 minutes. I watched it on DVD and enjoyed it a lot. It has the same feel as the original Resident Evil film.

Now, Bloodrayne II just came out and I can't quite bring myself to watch it yet. And I am really not sure if I am going to see Resident Evil: Extinction.

i'll go because it's milla. i even watched her in "ultra violet" (which because of "equilibrium" everyone was expecting to be much better). she's on a very short list of female action heros.

I'm working on a script based on the video game Tetris. The characters call either other "blockhead" a lot, and complain that newcomers don't always fit in very well.

Can I be in it? I want to play a character named "Elle" who won't go out with another character because he's a "square".

But the problem is that the original Russian version of this film (I don't know if you've seen it) is that I have heard critics say it goes on and on and gets really frustrating after, like, the first half hour, and then everything happens really really fast and the whole thing falls apart and then ends abruptly.

But you must admit...the soundtrack kicked all kinds of ass.

it seemed to get really fast near the end and then stopped abruptly.
