Fake People Piss Me Off!!!

So up until about two months ago I was working at Blockbuster. Seeing as how I was getting 12 hours max a week, I decided to ditch the job and get another one. My new job is alot better (even though its at a deli). I get paid two dollars more (plus time and a half on Sundays) and get 31+ hours a week.
Well, today I needed to take back some movies to Blockbuster and pay a late fee. One of my old co-workers, whom I'm friends with, informed me that Deann (one of the managers and another of my friends) got fired for pocketing a twenty found in the drop box.
I hadn't talked to Deann since I quit, so I was going to facebook her saying that it sucks she got fired, how i miss her, and that we should hangout soon. Well, looking at another person's page first, I saw that Deann had written a complaint a few months prior saying that I suck ass and am a horrible worker. This was written before I quit.
Needless to say, I was pretty pissed considering that I though Deann and I were pretty close. I had never known that she had these feeling towards me. So my post to her went a little something like this:
I was going to say that I miss you and that we should hang out some time soon, but then I read your comment on Andy's wall saying that I "suck so much ass."
Pssh.. whatever. At least I didn't get fired for pocketing a 20 dollar bill. I left at my own leisure and got a job that pays an extra two dollars (time and a half on MoreSundays) and give me 30+ hours a week.
Who sucks now?

The only reason you didn't like Kevin is because he never put up with your constant bull shit. It was so obvious you didn't like your job and you showed no respect for someone who was supposed to be your equall (Kevin).
It sucks that you never liked me, because I actually thought we were friends. You can't bitch at me about work etiquite when yours was just as bad, if not worse.

Thoughts?
First, toodles IS Sassy.
Second, I think if she wrote what she did openly on a public forum where anyone could read it (Myspace/facebook, etc.) then she can't be surprised that you saw it. You have every right to respond to a public comment about you and your work habits. Negative things about you could impact future employment opportunities for you and that isn't cool. It's one thing if she said she doesn't like your eating habits or your jeans or whatever, but WORk habits is different.
As your boss, posting something about you like that is REALLLY unprofessional. It's actually probably illegal in some way. I don't believe Blockbuster endorses public reprimands of employees when the employee hasn't even been told.
Good for you for standing up for yourself. Maybe next time she'll be a good boss and tell her employees to their face what they need to change so that everyone can work together better.
