i thought it would be fun to show you guys the shit i've been looking at lately because i look at a ton of art for my job and because i'm kind of an art fag when i'm not at my job and i save lots of random images.

bloody fingers, cat, yellowish embroidered lampshade, weird-nosed couple, painting of my eyeballs and nose, closeup on my grandmother's plastic flower thingies (i live in the house she died in and i keep around a lot of her things)
i got a new camera for my birthday but i'm really shitty with technology in general and it feels really impersonal but i'm trying to remind myself to take one picture a day. i have to wait until my boyfriend thinks to move the pictures from the camera to the computer because i don't know how. i also don't know how anyone took a good photograph of a painting ever.

i've only made one attempt to photograph a painting. turned out ok, but i bet there are techniques of doing it much much better.
