LOL..... That's how I spent my time at work. Defiling the kids' toys...The cool thing about working in a preschool (about the ONLY cool thing) is the endless sources of inspiration.

Dude, I used to work in a preschool, when I was in college. I was an assistant teacher for the 2-3 year-olds. We used Enya at naptime. What music do you use?

Can you make a mean pot of glitter pink playdough like I can?

I can make a bomb-diggity pretty pot of pink glittery playdough. And glitter crayons from broken OLD crayons.

We use Josh Groban sometimes, and a lullaby CD by the rock group Plumb LOL.

i still, to this day (and this was 8 years ago) cannot listen to Enya without wanting to fall alseep. Pavlov!

I don't think i want kids, but i would be so happy going back to being a preschool assistant teacher. I loved being around the kids.

Once, we had a kid who was a "biter". We had to watch him all the time. Well, I went to school that day with a hicky on my neck my boyfriend had given me the night before. When the kid bit someone on the playground, I had to pull him aside and tell him that was not okay. he looked at me and pointed to my neck and said, "Who bit you?"

I was embarassed at the time, but now I think it's my fave story from working there.
