Can you explain those to me, if it doesnt annoy you?
I have a shitty one I'm embarassed to even show until it gets touched up.

Ruby, they're japanese symbols with other shit going on around them! They mean various things, kinda like the ingredients of life for us... Life, death, dark, light, sex, vortex...

I know they're very simple, but I'm very proud of them, having designed them all myself.

Mine is Kanji for "lotus"
i guess I can take a pic of it and post it. Keep in mind, the guy who did it didnt inform me that he didn't know what he was doing. heh

It could easily be fixed. It was my first tattoo and I got it at a huge turning point in my life when I left Texas and it symbolizes my upbringing (parents followed the lotus sutra)

It's lovely, Ruby... I always think a first tattoo remains special. I would leave it just as it is.

well the outline looks like crap. the color looks bad too but I'll leave it. I might just have the outline darkened so it's consistent.
Probably sometime within the year. Next I want a long horn skull on my lower back

Ruby: I am definitely in sympathy with your reasons for getting a tattoo. Both of mine have deeply personal meaning, which is why I would hate to ever have to remove either one.

I would definitely touch that up a bit and crisp up the color and edges, but that can (and should) be done with all tattoos. Mine are now many years old and could probably stand to be refreshed, if I could find an artist I trusted with my flesh.

I don't have a tattoo yet, but someday I'd like to tattoo the whole entire Chucky family on my back. On my upper back, I'd like to get a sun on my right side and on my left, I'd like a moon. In the middle I'm going to put some kind of spiritual looking eye, no not the egyption eye of life, but something realistic that gives off a third eye glow.

I love LoD's backpiece... and I'd love to get one. The problem is that I've picked out a few awesome Frazetta paintings that I'd love to use, but I don't have enough faith in the local tattoo artist's ability do them justice. I don't want my back to look like some crappy 70's fantasy airbrush van art. (which I kinda like... but not as a tattoo)

Maybe severed ankles, maybe severed thighs... but the neck? Hell, naw, I'm saving that for a tattoo of giant electricity conducting bolts! (haha, I kid... maybe)

I have decided to get a tattoo on my left arm of a heart with an arrow through it and my own name inside.

I have two and they are on my left shoulder. It is a drawing my friend in high school drew. She combined her own imagination with something off an Alice in Chains album...
