I am anti-Twilight (well, anti-anything-pop-culture-especially-in-relation-to-teens) so this was killer.... loved it.

Oh yeah. Talk about your biting satire. Some parts made me die laughing (Kool-Aid man killed me!) and some parts were just...omgs. O_O I had to pick my jaw off the keyboard.

This woman just really gave me everything I need to know about the books. I also love her critique of the modern mormon influence. Very cool!

My SIL is obsessed with the books movie, everything, so I showed her that and made her cry. I feel sorta bad about that....

But not really.

The books REALLY arent' that good. It's just the whole OMG THEY ALMOST SORTA BUT NOT REALLY HAVE SEX thing in it for teens. It IS a very erotic without being erotic book. Way too many tingles and deep-down warm fuzzies....And sparkles. We can't forget the sparkles.

The whole mormom critique WAS really informative. My dad's a pastor so I was drilled on the 'false religions' as a kid, and it was interesting reading all that stuff that's actually true that I used to think was just charismatic theology make believe!

I just had a second read of that satirical piece. I still say that the Kool-Aid Man kills me every time!

OMG too funny.

I saw the movie and I laughed throughout the entire show.
