"'Revenge is better than Christmas.'- Elvira"
Site Content Question for members
There are a lot of things I would like to post up on the main page of PS but are not horror film or book or music related so often don't. Right now I am itching to post a review of The Women I wrote, as well as some news about how horrifying sarah palin is.
People, I assume, come here to read the main page to find out horror related news. Would it be awful if there were the occasional real-life horror news?
Things in the past have included Rape in the Congo, various political issues, the way Hilary Clinton was treated when she wore an orange suit at the democratic convention, Dove commercials, etc.
What is your opinion on this? Would it be of interest to readers, do you think, or absoultely a turn-off to anyone visiting the site to see a blurb about Sarah Palin up there?

given the large amount of horror sites on the net, this could only serve to make us here at P-S stand out more. not every site needs to be maintained by faceless pseudonyms. your real name is used here, and your news and articles often have a personal edge.
i say go for it. the worst it can do is elevate us from "horror site" to something bigger and *gasp* even more socially important.

On the one hand, those topics are a bit outside the scope of the site.
On the other hand, the site takes on the personality of the content provider.
If you could somehow tie it in to the whole "for women in horror by women in horror" thing - go for it!
If ever in doubt, post it under a pseudonym. That way if hits start going down and the regulars are in an uproar, you could always say "yeah, it was that Felicia Quartermain bitch. We got rid of her, so you won't have to worry about it any more".
