Hey everyone.

The site is undergoing an, er "upgrade" or alll facets, including forums, and is sort of going to look strange for a day or two until I can get it tweaked correctly. Please bear with us!!!!

Until then, I'm right here and everything seems to be working corrcetly, if not looking correct.

Any problems, etc., please let me know ASAP! ok????

Our forums have been upgraded to the latest version and we should see a significant reduction in SPAM from now on.

Please do keep me posted if you see any, or if you notice anything weird in the forums.

There will be weird stuff on the site regular for the next few days, but the forums should be consistent.

i see a background. and i'm using safari which is notorious for not loading things and crashing and all other manner of funny business.

and what do you mean by weird things on the site? i resemble that remark.

Man, I just found one mor ething I can do to make the forums spam-proof. Am getting on it ASAP. Ugh! SPAMMMMM!!! (holds up fist at the sky and shakes furiously)

I am trying to implement a forum program called ForumNews that has a built-in anti-spam program not found in regular Nuke. Should have that up today... I apologize folks!

Just deleted another SPAM post. I can tell you the volume is WAY down as for a while there I was deleting between 12-15 SPAM posts a day and you've only had a few in a couple days.

I've also been deleting SPAM on a frequent basis since last Friday, (mainly in the submissions folder area)... I just slit the throat on (3) of 'em just a moment ago. I've noticed a slight drop off on the quantity the last day or so as well.

The latest submission folder activity:

Last night I decapitated 11 SPAM messages in the submissions folder...and then this morning, I gutted out 8 more. Now I'm just trying to clean up the body parts.

Just deleted a SPAM and unfortunately it popped up right after I unlocked a thread that had been hit repeatedly.
Clearly, we still have SPAM masqurading as members.

That same thing happened to me (Saturday afternoon). I unlocked a thread to make a post... and it was only unlocked for just a moment, and SPAM had quickly posted into it. I then deleted it and locked the thread back up.

One thing though, ever since Friday afternoon, I have not noticed a single SPAM pesticide creeping around in the submissions folder.
