He's been married to Joanne Woodward for 50 years? Damn, that's impressive.
Hell of a great guy. Hell of an actor. Just a class act all around. He'll be sorely missed.

i read imdb news a lot. they've run several stories about how sick newman is. at first, reports came back that said, "this is a rumor, paul is fine", but that stopped a while ago. i knew when he said his acting days were over that pretty much meant he wasn't expecting to be around much longer.
