| No, but you are right, it looks very cool. I can't find who the editor is, did you notice it anywhere? |

I've seen it before, but haven't paid a whole lot of attention to the magazine - it's not my cup of tea. (I'm a little uncomfortable with treating the Good Folk in such a familiar manner, esp. considering how much they value their privacy.)

Can't find the name of the editor anywhere...
I love the different fairie cons they have listed.
I think if you celebrate the faeries without expecting them to join in, its not as intrusive... _________________ "Safety First!" |

You're probably right - it's not like faerie abductions are common occuarances at faerie festivals!

yeah, I'm thinking, "ride the unicorn, have a brat, lick an ice-cream cone, get a faerie on my face in paint, eat cotton candy, go home & throw up" perfect day, really! _________________ "Safety First!" |

That's what most Pagan festivals are like, except there's usually a drum circle and some sort of a supposedly generic pagan ritual.

You can get into the Grass Valley Celtic Festival for free if you dress like a Faerie...
http://www.kvmr.org/celticfestival/
... someone on one of the Celtic mailing lists I belong to is looking for people to dress like the Fae.
I would go except Grass Valley is past Sacremento! Even if it is a straight shot up the 99 freeway, that's still a lot of gas!

I think the closest thing to that down here is the Celtic Games (just people of scottish ancestry in kilts drinking) or the renaissance Faire in San Bernardino, where there is some fae influenvce but not really.
Hm.
Maybe Halloween faires here are closer to that.
Wish I could ride a unicorn though! _________________ "Safety First!" |
