what a weekend!

I didn't want to clog up the important forum areas LOL.
The last seven days went like this for me:
I found out I had two and 1/2 days to move out of my apartment, into my parents' house, and prepare for an out-of-state convention.
I moved from the apartment I lived in for over 5 years, in the allotted time. 18 bags of junk for the dumpster. 12 bags for a yard sale (plus furniture). Four whole boxes and two beds to go to my parents' house. NO DSL. Using an aircard to get on the net.
Found out I was accidentally withdrawn from my college courses for some bizarre reason.
I'm tired.
On a good note, I made it to Ohio in one piece for the convention.Had a BLAST, drank absinthe for the first time. Mingled with some kick-butt horror authors. Sat on a panel with Gary Braunbeck and Christopher Golden, Michael Knost and some old dude I don't know. I was the only female on the panel. I made some great friends and reconnected with some old ones. Got pretty drunk at a party and got felt up by an even-more-drunk gay horror author who wanted to see if he could be straight (I'm still trying to figure that one out). Belly-danced with an awesome chick and then some guy who called himself 'Green Nipple' and couldn't pronounce his 'r's tried to hit on me. His beard (among other things) creeped me out, so that was a no-go.

Why do you only have two days?? Do you have a lease or rental agreement? Legally, you're supposed to get at minimum 30 days and should be in writing. Where do you live? You should look into that and take the landlord to small claims court if they terminated your rental agreement early.
