What 2009 Horror Film are *you* looking forward to?
To be frank, between my huge disappoint with most modern horror movies and my continuing depression over my job & economic situation, I'm not really looking forward to anything in the theatre. I'll probably just wait for everything to come to cable so I don't end up kicking myself for spending $10 to see another mediocre movie in the theatre.
ok, How about The Wolf Man??? that looks really great from the pics and trailer so far!
I'm definitely interested! I didn't mention it because I was being pedantic and sticking with only films planned to be released in 2009.
I'm not 100% confident in The Wolf Man though. The fact they've pushed it so many times is a bad vibe. I really want it to be a good film, but I wouldn't bet on it.
I want to add another one to this list, though it's only rumored to be getting a limited release this year. That is Paranormal Activity. It may have a very small release late this month - if it does, go see it!
dread is amazing.
HEIDI, you are responsible for the poop in my pants. midnight meat train and book of blood were such bummers. i get get re-bummed every time i think about book of blood. it's hard to be a clive barker nerd when everything connected with him makes me want to eat my own eyeballs.
That in itself is a little Barker-esque.
What's Pandorum about? Seen the ads, but haven't looking into it.
Pandorum official synopsis:
Dennis Quaid is a hot spaceship captain. He and his small crew of young hot people, with an ethnic person and most likley a scientist female, discover something creepy on board their ship or the ship they find floating in space, deserted. Is it a creature or a demon from hell? Whatever it is, it kills people in gruesome ways and it is up to Dennis to stop it.
ooo i love old washed up actors, an ethnic character, and of course the potential female scientist!
I think I may wait until this comes on sci-fi channel, though, unfortunately... unless somebody pops up with a really good review.
Dennis Quaid? In a sci-fi horror flick? really.
I think I'm going to go watch Event Horizon. Love that movie. Sunshine was pretty good, too.

are you expecting to be good?

Zombieland is the next big film I'm looking forward to. Everything else I'll wait for DVD.
