This is really weird - whatever that mystery object was, you'd think whoever or whatever was piloting it would notice a train coming at it even if it was dark and the train's lights were out. If they're aliens or extra-dimensional visitors, then they're not particularly intelligent aliens or extra-dimensional visitors.
