I love that the guests are not 'typical' of a horror con!

I'm hoping to make it this year! LOoks awesome. And it's 30 mins up the road from me.

Althought the fact that it's at the Wyndham is a HUGE downer. The Wyndham is huge, but it's so not set up for a convention, despite the 'convention center' name. I was just there for the RT national con, and it was horrible. You either had to hike ten minutes over narrow bridges, footpaths, through ducks and lizards to find which building your thing was in, or fight your way down narrow hallways to get to the convention rooms.

There's only one bar, and it's TINY, and so not adequately staffed for a large Con! And expensive. One strawberry daquiri in a regular plastic cup was nearly ten bucks! After I'd had three of those, and found out how much they cost, I was slightly enraged. And drunk. They were pretty strong....

it's usually all in one building though, with a few events (after parties) taking place nearby. Concerts in the next room over and panels as well. It's always a blast!

IS it always at the Wyndham?

Yeah, before that it was in Fort Lauderdale. Those first shows had photocopied programs. heh heh.

It'll be nice and breezy down there, in FL also.
