"'So you really think you're man enough to join me? Well, I better get this nightmare underway...'- Andromeda Strange, Slaughter Disc"

There is a raging sea of this kind of hilariously awful product on Amazon, all thanks to affordable self-publishing. Hell, my book's there.
Seriously, though, it disqualifies self-pubbing as a viable alternative to landing a major deal with a publisher, of which fewer and fewer are being awarded.
That said, I got a few hearty laughs from this so I guess it's not all bad.
ok the first two reviews cracked me up. If they aren't written by the same person, I'd be surprised. I love the part in the second one where it says "this book was writen with Many Words".
And the title of the first one "I like the spaceship on the cover."

This is a book. And Also its a Good book, one to read. The auther who goes by the Name of Daryl M. Corteney really has a nack for Good science Fiction telling. Also the Story.

This book is Beautifully written with many Words. Now this is not the same type of Book as many other books its real good. I read it 1 then 2 then 3 time's and each Time was real good. Now I don't usually identify with books but this Book is real good and seems like it is just the type of book that I Like.

Manny Words is a great fake name for a writer!
Whenever Manny gets his picture taken, he needs to be wearing a t-shirt with a spaceship on it.

Does it seem to you guys that whoever wrote this used a voice identifier system instead of typing it? Or that they used a bad translation software? man.
I want to end all sentences with 'But hey.'
Reading stuff like this makes me feel like such a good writer.

Wow, I believe he wrote his own reviews. he also answered this Yahoo Answers question about whether his book was a joke or not and pretended he was someone else:

omg he's from New Smyrna Beach. Like ten mins away from me.
I did like Tommy T's answer. Three wolf moon shirt revisited!
google a self-published book called 'Savannah's Choice'. I was asked to review it, and out of some morbid desire to torture myself, I did.
It was over 500 pages of...pain. sheer, horrible, eviscerating pain.
www.rorreviews.wordpress.com to see my review of it, and the consequential flack that flew from the author (and herself posing as her best friends).
I can only hope John Cusak gets to play David in the big screen adaptation.
I once received a feature script that was written very much like this, only it was about 40 pages long with another 10(?) pages of random notes and single line sentences. The two guys who were producing and directing it had actually secured $100K to make it.
