Live Evil Scores Theatrical Release in September

Jay Woelfel's Live Evil has scored a theatrical release of 300 screens across the nation and will start rolling out on September 18th before seeing the light of DVD in early November. This film is particularly notable for Pretty Scary in that it stars not just one, but two Scary Studs of the Month!

Actors Ken Foree (October 2004) and Mark Hengst (July 2008) have both graced the illustrious pages of Pretty Scary, and both men have teamed up to star in the new vampiric thriller Live Evil.

The film, which also stars Elissa Dowling (I like her!) and Tiffany Shepis (her too!), tells the story of vampires having trouble surviving in a world where the blood supply has become polluted by drugs and STDs. Presumably global warming and the soaring costs of health care isn't making them very happy either.

I personally haven't seen the film and so withhold stronger comment, except to say it looks slightly terrible. It does have some entertaining actors and actresses, to be sure; but the idea of vampires bemoaning the fact everyone on earth is a drug addicted slut makes my blood twitch. Perhaps I'll be surprised!
