The feeling of the game is just so perfect, you really do feel like you're one of the last survivors of a zombie apocalypse.
More than once I've been walking home at 3 am after playing this game with some friends and I have been worried that a horde of zombies is about to attack. It's simply amazing.
It's expensive (still about 60$ Canadian) but it's worth at least a rental. Plus, online you can play as the infected.
This game is amazing in that it has what is known as the 'director', which means that every time you play one of the 4 levels zombies will spawn in different areas depending on your reactions, making each time you play very different.
I recommend playing with someone else in the same room, so that you can scream together. Makes it even more fun.
I know two people who have this game and it does rock.
I myself am a scaredy cat and so I prefer to WATCH people play these games on the couch, curdled up like a retard, and screaming whenever something attacks the person playing.
I think it rocks.
Its right up there with Silent Hill and Resident Evil.
