"'Don't worry, Cindy! We'll pretend this never happened. You know, like the time we got drunk and went down on each other! '- Buffy Gilmore, Scary Movie"
The Hilarious House of Frightenstein
Please tell me someone remembers this TV show. I actually think this program shaped my entire life. Rue Morgue did a wonderful article on it in their latest issue and reading it settled my restless soul as I'd been racking my brain for years trying to piece together the scattered memories stored in the deep recesses of my disturb centers.
It was, in short, awesome.
It would have to have been on UHF back in the day. Something like 17 here in New Jersey. The U.S. version was edited to a half-hour, but the Canadian version was a full hour show.
Youtube comes through with a few popular segments:

Grizelda: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcvofD-4rto
The Wolfman: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3k6o0uwnj1U
All played by the legendary Billy Van, who passed away in '02, I think. I'm reading that the last broadcast was in the early 80's.

I don't remember it at all! when was it airing? what channel?
