"'There are two kinds of women. There are women and then there’s pussy.' - Sam Peckinpah"
Heidi's movie 'Wretched' reviewed in June 2009 issue of Rue Morgue Magazine!
Wretched (www.wretchedmovie.com) will be reviewed in the CINEMACABRE section of the June 1 2009 Rue Morgue Magazine issue, under the Abbreviated Terrors listing! This movie was written and produced and co-directed by heidi (me) and shot by the talented jessica gallant (filmgal) of pretty-scary! It starts Joe Bob Briggs and Jaimie Andrews! Greg Nicotero did Special effects stuff!
Yay!
I hope that means they liked it!
next week's (may 29) episode of rue morgue radio www.ruemorgueradio.com will feature an interview with me, Heidi, about Wretched and www.pretty-scary.net
Yay!
Well, my dear, let's do it!
Can we start after June 15th?
I am studying for my Graduate Records Examine right now (I know what you're thinking - awesome! How FUN!) and take it on the 15th. After that, I have a big month long break in between when I start school on July 20th.
Do you have anything going on in that month?
Just listened to the second interview and thought you rocked it again, Heidi. You tend to dominate Feedback, which I think he likes. A lot.
I also think he didn't quite get your point about horror––in particular torture porn––and porn being linked to that same nerve center in the brain. They aren't apples and oranges. They're more like red apples and green apples. Or fresh cranberries and canned cranberry sauce. Maybe tangerines and mandarin oranges.
Anyway, nice job.

Well put
I am looking forward to the June issue. Still waiting
Finally....
The long awaited THIRD part to Heidi Martinuzzi's RUE MORGUE RADIO interview:

Oh Heidi I saw a clip of this and I would love to see this do they sell this on amazon? I don't have a lot of money but I would love to get it or could you send me a copy or do you know they are hosting it. I just remembering seeing a clip of it and I thought it was really great with john saying "You worthless cunt" and the look on her face was really just I was in awe.I mean this I was really moved and I would really love to see this in its entiretly heidi. Jessica your cinematography is amazing and people who don't hire you because your woman is a damn fool. I want to see more I wish I could see more. I really liked your interview heidi I remember you talking about this when I met you. I don't know if I ever told you I have bipolar disorder I have type 2. I use to be really ashamed about it its really affecting my life now. But I get help and try to manage it but sometimes its really hard to function. Hahah I'm getting kind of emmotional typing this, but I wish I had friends like you guys because I don't know its like I'm more accepted here than I am in the "real" world whatever that means. I rather come here than bloody-disgusting where there is intelligent conversations. So if you people notice I go on where tangents now you know why lol. I just like to say thanks Heidi for all that you do for women in horror and everyone who comes here. Because everyone here is pretty fucking cool. Where the hell is Steve Grainger and Tiffany god I miss those two like crazy!
Oh yeah by the way I liked the thing you did on bloody mary that was cool I liked seeing a piece on a female speical effects artist
awww, thanks Vanessa!!!
Wretched is available on DVD at www.thechainsawmafia.com store, but I can send you a copy.
Do you want to email me your address?

and as far as sharing about Bipolar disorder, there are many people who have quirky weird things about them that need to be treated with meds, therapy, or just a strange lifestyle, and that's okay, because frankly it gives you an interesting perspective on the world. Its all about overcoming problems and taming them and making them work for you instead of against you.

Cool! I will have to pick up that issue and listen to the radio. I'll be tuning in! Yay for you.
