Timberwolf Entertainment has just realeased their second in a series of DVD's featuring various short films. The disc screams female empowerment and I'd reccomend it to anyone interested in low budget films. Two shorts on the DVD, Forced Survival and The Call Girl, absolutely shine.

Here's my short review from their official site:

I received Detour 2 yesterday and watched it immediately. Right away I could see the drastic difference in quality compared to Detour 1. This thing looked fucking slick! The six short films presented on this disc looked and felt more like "real" films.

Forced Survial and The Call Girl both had me on the edge of my seat. They were definitely the best of the set. Jill Swanson shined in both shorts and creates an amazing screen presence. She had great chemistry with both Kevin Cirone and Mike DeFrancesco. Speaking of DeFrancesco, he is my favorite of the Timberwolf alumni and it was great to see him appear in the various short films. He plays such a great asshole, it's a shame we haven't seen him in the Summer's End sequel.

Diary of a Black Widow is the only one that truly felt like a micro budget film, but it in the best way. It was great to see how it played out and got so INTENSE when William appearred on screen. He's another one of my Timberwolf favorites.

Lesser of 2 Evils and Boyfriend Killers had already appeard online, so I watched them last. They looked great on my HD TV as compared to my shitty computer monitor.

All in all, this is a great set and I'm defiitely looking forward to Timberwolf's latest!

You can check them out here.
