World Premiering at the Dances With Films Film Festival in Los Angeles on June 5th, the thriller The Commune by Elizabeth Fies is a crazy trip into the world of communes and cults and our worst fears about all that New Age crap. The Commune is the festival's opening night film - a huge honor!

Her film THE SCAR CROW screens Wednedsay June 10th at 9:30 PM Sunset Laemmle. Melanie, are you going to be there for us to meet?

I'm trying to talk legendary mistress of horror Katt Shea into coming, but she's already seen the movie a gazillion times during my postproduction. ;)

Chauntal Lewis will be making her first official public appearance since her accident, so come on out and give her a hug and tell her what an amazing actress she is!!!

I shall indeed be there, hopefully as a few of us are over for the festival we have a Q and A too! I'm in LA from 29th may-11th june, meeting a lawyer to get a visa application underway and networking my ass off for work contacts. I'll get a couple of tickets for The Commune and would be up for a little party to tag along to too!

I like the new trailer much more.
