I've been reading and following this site for a while now and I finally decided to become more active!
My name is Maude, I'm a filmmaker from Montreal and a grad student interested in studying every aspects of women and horror films. I'm currently working on a feature length documentary on women, feminism and horror film, and I had the chance of meeting some of you during my trip to L.A. in early October. *waves*

(BTW, where did that stereotype come from - I've known lots of Canadians and not one of them ever said "eh" at the end of their sentences.)
I've never encountered it much either to honest. So I have no idea. I also don't know what a hoser is.
