Well the League of Extraordinary Paranormal Women are going to be at this conference: http://www.paracon2009.com Broadcasting LIVE.

And we are in negotiations for one in Hollywood, A Haunting Romance.

We will also have one in Michigan this Fall, A Victorian Haunting Experience.

Lets see. Here are some groups in your area. I know nothing about them and cannot vouch for them: http://www.theozarksparanormalsociety.com

Here is a group that does events throughout MO:

Here is an event in July in Kansas City Missouri:

Hope this helps!

Conference on Horror Cinema
New Nightmares: April 3-4
MMU is staging an international conference on horror films.

The two-day New Nightmares event (April 3-4) will bring together academics to look at how horror films have changed over the past ten years.

Organiser Dr David Huxley, of MMU’s art and design research institute, says the genre's popularity shows little sign of dying off - with at least one TV channel showing non-stop horror films, many of which bypass the cinema and go straight to TV.

"One of the things we try to address is why it continues to be so popular," he said. "People keep saying it will die out, but they keep being proved wrong.
