The upcoming special FX master Teresa Fahs-directed horror film Haunting Kira finally has a website!

Fahs (Dirty Martini, The Last Sin, Chosen), dubbed the Goddess of Gore, has described her directorial debut Haunting Kira as Being John Malkovich meets The Shining meets Night of the Living Dead.

The site currently features bios on the film's cast, faux files from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department on some of the project's characters, information for fans that would like to receive screen credits, producer blogs...

Scandinavian June 2008 Scary Stud Kim Sonderholm will be appearing in two upcoming female-directed horror films that we've previously reported on; Demonica's Reign by Daniela Garcia and Haunting Kira by Teresa Fahs.

Kim completed his scenes for both this past July 2009.

We recently told you about Teresa Fahs' horror film Haunting Kira which will shoot in Las Vegas, Nevada USA in early 2010. Actress Rachel Grubb (Terror Overload, Tales of the Dead) has just been cast and had a few words to say about the female-helmed supernatural movie.

"I love the script," Grubb said. "It's funny and original with lots of gorey goodness... Seriously, it's nothing like the majority of zombie movies. Most zombie movies are about the world being chased by animated corpses, and the living having to fight to stay alive..."

After ten years helping other genre filmmakers bring monstrosities to the screen, special FX makeup artist Teresa Fahs says she is ready to breathe life into her own undead creations. The CEO of Gorify.com, a one-stop special effects make-up resource for the do-it-yourself zombie, has written and is currently seeking funds for Haunting Kira which she plans to direct in November and release theatrically on Mother's Day next year.

"Over the years, I have become proficient at visually translating a script into reality," Fahs said. "What I haven't had a chance to do, is really push the special effects envelope from the writing and directing perspective..."
