Queer Horror

Guinivere Turner (American Psycho, Bloodrayne) stars as 'Iris' in a new female-directed queer horror/thriller called The Owls, in which four lesbians accidentally kill a younger woman and try to get away with it.

The Owls (currently shooting) seems to have a surrealistic and experimental quality to it. It will "(if sometimes gruesomely) mix the stories of its thriller characters with those of its behind-the-scene makers to create an end product that complicates easy images of contemporary lesbian identity, cross-generational interaction, and queer media." Sounds complicated...
