Who are the Gratista Vampire Clan you ask? Well, a group of hardened veterans of the vampire lore for one. A motley crew of independent publication specialists for another. The whole clan, who accept any and all newcomers embrace the dark and erotic side of horror. The ring leader and all around ‘good girl at being bad’, Mistress Santiago, ‘resurrected’ her popular Ezine ‘Dark Gothic’ last year and has enjoyed moderate success. The Clan itself with this release hope to give the ‘older’ reader something a little more ‘wet and inviting’ to arouse as well as repulse...

Snuff film - we are all familiar with the expression and what it means. Films depicting the actual torture and sometimes killing of people caught on film. A neat little twist to this one, a little bit of Mafioso mixed in for that Goodfellas/Sopranos feel. The main character has a hidden agenda and a slash fest ensues…GREAT!!

Stone Promise - You have to read it a couple of times to get the true sense of it. Nice piece but perhaps could have been more deeply developed

Love Bites - Awww, a piece from young gifted chat‘a’holic Kody Boye. Hot manly man sex. Here’s a writer I have had the pleasure of reading before, he is quickly developing character strength and context. This tale shows a couple of swinging dicks gettin’ it on. A cleanly written short story that speaks volumes about it’s 15 year old writer. A good read, simple, like all the greats in their prime. Get your bite on!!

Diabolic Rapture - Surprisingly upbeat, it carries a cracking tempo. A little vampire slap and tickle in true ‘Gratista’ fashion!

Danger Zone - Short tale about a club owner with a difference. A vampire whose favourite and most cherished dancer fancies him, she also suspects what he is. Not a lot to this tale aside from the main characters. It’s a bit HAWT!

~ Following this it is worth mentioning that there is some incredible photography and artwork to be seen throughout this publication. There is an absolutely stunning photo of a church following ‘Danger Zone’, a place that I wouldn’t mind having a look round to be honest, lol! ~

The Feeders Anomaly - One of my favourites, not your box standard night time tale. Hehe, I suppose a story about genetalia mutilation was just what the doctor ordered! Good piece of solid story telling with a character you can’t help but admire.

Diamonds in the Rain - Just an odd little piece of prose really…

A Winters Unrequited Love - by the Mistress herself, a short piece about grave stones and the cold that bites the heart within the absence of love. This piece is why she is the leader and respected Matriach of the Gratista Clansters, a nice end to the book.
