| Disabled 'Buffy' Fan forced to sell memorabilia |
|
If you're a Buffy and horror/sci-fi fan, and you want to buy some stuff from someone who really needs the money, check out this myspace blog of San Antonio's Beth, who suffers from 'osteogenesis imperfecta' - brittle bone disease. Beth has been forced by money problems to sell her precious precious Buffy stuff like this Essence of Spike statue in order to pay bills.
www.myspace.com/beth5507 will be selling more awesome movie memorabilia in the coming days, so if you're a fan and want to help someone out, take a look at what she's got. Us chicks who love horror have to stick together.

| The Domestic Gothess presents The Corporate Goth |
|
by Minerva Li
Many of us have been there before. Maybe you've graduated from school and you're heading into the job market. Maybe you're looking for a professional change, maybe an upgrade from minimum wage shop clerk to something with benefits. Maybe your parents have told you that you can't keep living in their basement listening to Black Sabbath for the rest of your life.
Regardless, you need to get a job and not just any job but one of those dress code jobs where they don't give you a snazzy lemon yellow and grass green polyester uniform but they expect you to learn how to tie-a-tie and press your slacks. Tragic.

| Tiffany Shepis to marry ...Corey Haim? |
|
Corey Haim's official site reports that Tiffany Shepis (our friend, Tiffany Shepis) and Corey Haim (the drugged out, weird, former child star) are getting marred - er, married. His website says,
A big mazal tov goes out to COREY — HE IS GETTING MARRIED!! The lovely lady is Tiffany Shepis! COREY and Tiffany first met 12 years ago while COREY was on set filming FEVER LAKE. They recently reunited at the Chiller Theatre autograph show & the rest is history. The wedding has been set for May 9, 2009!
Um, They would have reunited LAST WEEKEND. Isn't that rushing it a abit? and Tiffany, I LOVE YOU, and while I know this is a great way to get on Corey Haim's VH1 reality show, it is marriage we're talking about. This will be number 3. This is a stupid idea.
SeriouslyOMG reports that Tiffany confirmed the info.

| Nerdoh! Horror T's that are for hardcore geeks (like you) |
|
Here's something useful- horror T's in GIRL sizes! Shaped for our bodies! Just because we're female doesn't mean we don't like completely obscure inside-joke horror movie references. In fact, many of us are lonely and have way too many cats! Phil Bonner created Nerdoh with just such a mentality in mind. His skinny shirts bear awesome logos like a "Top of the World, Barrow Alaska" tourist T (from 30 Days of Night) and a "Cyber Dyne systems’ Skynet" promotion company T (from Terminator). My fave though has got to be the company logo T-shirt from The Umbrella Corp (Resident Evil). Try wearing that anywhere but at a horror convention and having anyone "get it"! Just like my personal life, this shirt will confuse and turn-off any less-than-completely-insane horror movie buff. Because ordinary horror shirts just aren't obscure enough for people as sarcastic, bored, and obsessive as we are... so make it a Nerdoh T.
Check out Nerdoh: nerdoh.co.uk

If you're a woman of horror who wants to find her inner anarchist peace, Punk Rock Yoga is the way for you. Created by Kimberlee Jenson Stedl, the purpose of Punk Rock Yoga is to "to scrub the elitism and rigidity out of modern yoga". Punk Rock Yoga is more than "an alternative to liposuction" and some religious groups believe that it "opens your mind to the devil", which is fun in and of itself!
If you want to rebel against a broken yoga establishment, and do yoga in a nightclub, Punk Rock Yoga is the way to go. Check them out for info and classes at www.punkrockyoga.com.

| Kristanna Loken wedding pictures! |
|
Genre actress Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3, Bloodrayne) and Producer (Lime Salted Love, Painkiller Jane) tied the knot (despite rumors that she's gay) with hottie Noah Dalton Danby (son of the late world famous realist painter Ken Danby) on May 10th 2008. The wedding took place at an orchard, and her official blog says, "At the end of the ceremony monarch butterflies were released and were drawn to the light color of Kristanna's dress. The butterflies will also pollinate the trees... The reception commenced in a big white tent between the pond and the petting zoo. It was truly a fairytale in the orchard."
I love her, but what the heck is that crap on her head? Check out her site to see the wedding pictures.

| The Living Dead Girlz go on TOUR! |
|
Zombies do have more fun! The Living Dead Girlz, a zombie dance troupe based in San Francisco, are about to embark on a frenzy of eating Brains and dancing harder than the thriller video – all over the US of A! Get ready folks, it's the Living Dead Girlz Zombie Nation Tour. The LDG created the genre "dance splatter theater" by incorporating complex choreography created to display a moral story within their shows. With their tongue 'n cheek attitude, the LDG specialize in commercial jazz infused with hip hop, sock hop, cha cha, chair-dancing, tango and waltz.
"We are a parody of the entertainment industry's use of young women to sell products," says Amber Steele, the Director/Choreographer of the troupe. "Our approach to the zombie culture is reminiscent of Romero's metaphoric references to capitalism."
The Zombie Nation Tour will consist of free zombie marches, a show featuring the LDG with local acts, and a signing of the very first Living Dead Girlz comic book. The limited edition comic will illuminate the story of how the Living Dead Girlz joined forces during a zombie outbreak.
"The Zombie March and the LDG Comic Book are geared towards the younger generation, those who can't be present at the shows, but it's the demographic we want to infect the most," says Shannon Lark, Fangoria's current Spooksmodel and Manager/Special FX Artist for the troupe. "We want to show that as a female performer, you don't have to be trashy to be sexy."
The tour, which is managed by The Chainsaw Mafia, will be infesting several cities in the latter of 2008. NYC, Chicago, New Orleans, Wichita, and San Francisco are among the list. Zombie lovers can go to www.thechainsawmafia.com/livingdeadgirlz.html and www.livingdeadgirlz.com to find out more about the tour as dates and venues are TBA.
